Courtney is a second year MFA design student focusing on lighting, scenic, and media design at the UNIVERSITY OF IOWA. Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, she has worked as a freelance lighting designer for nearly a decade, as well as owned and operated a production company serving the Northwest Louisiana area.
Previous lighting design credits include BAD THINGS HAPPEN HERE... at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, SHOE featured in the 2018 Iowa New Play Festival, The Shreveport Opera's FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and COSI FAN TUTTE, River City Repertory Theatre's GREY GARDENS, VENUS IN FUR, and BUS STOP, and many other productions in the Northwest Louisiana area.
Her upcoming works can be seen on the UNIVERSITY OF IOWA stages and next summer at the PRAGUE QUADRENNIAL.
